Lambton Jaffas FC and Edgeworth Eagles FC have been confirmed as Northern NSW Football’s (NNSW) representatives at this year’s Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32, after winning their Round 7 matches on this evening.
Match one of the Round 7 Qualification Round was a tough contest between the PlayStation 4 National Premier League (NPL) giants, with the Jaffas fighting for the cup and securing a 3-2 win over the NPL table leaders.
Edgeworth dominated Singleton in a 7-0 win in the match two of the Qualification Westfield FFA Cup Round. Last year they had made it to Round of 32 and will have their eyes on progressing to Round of 16.
Northern NSW Football clubs are yet to make it to the Round of 16 in the Westfield FFA Cup since the inception of the cup in 2014.
The two will join the mix to play off against Preliminary Round club-based winners from fellow states, as well as Hyundai A-League Clubs.
The official LIVE Fox Sports draw is to take place on Thursday 30th June 3pm on FOX Sports to determine whether either of these teams will play host to a Hyundai A-League or rival State League club.
