Hamilton Olympic vs Shenzhen Ledman called off due to rain

Tonight’s game Olympic vs Shenzhen Ledman was called off after 21 minutes.

Torrential rain before kick off and midway through the first half gave the referee no option but to call the fixture off. The score at the time the referee called off the game was 1-0 to Shenzhen.

Hamilton Olympic take on Chinese Shenzhen Renren

On Monday, 27 February, at 7.00pm kick off at Darling Street Oval, Hamilton Olympic 1st Grade  will be playing against Shenzen Renren, a fully professional Chinese Football team that plays in the Second Division tier of the Chinese League.

The team are in the Hunter Valley, at their training camp, and will come up against Olympic on Monday. Free entry on the night, with full canteen facilities available.

There will be two Junior fixtures preceding the fixture, with Olympic Under 10 and 11 NET teams playing against Lambton Jaffas 10s and 11s in trial fixtures, commencing at 5.15pm.

In Youth NPL trial between Hamilton Olympic and Lambton Jaffas on Tuesday night:

U13s Olympic – Lambton Jaffas 4-2

U14s Olympic – Lambton Jaffas 3-4

U15s Olympic – Lambton Jaffas 5-0

U16s Olympic – Lambton Jaffas 3-0

Next  Youth NPL trials are Sunday, 26 February, at Darling Street Oval, with matches commencing at 3pm against Broadmeadow.

Hamilton Olympic held to a 2-2 draw by Lake Macquarie

In last night’s trial game Lake Macquarie held Olympic to a 2-2 draw. Olympic’s goal scorers were Scott Smith & Kane Goodchild.

Olympic’s U20s were defeated by 1-0 while our U18s played out a 0-0 draw.

On Thursday night our NPL Youth teams get their first hit out at Darling Street Oval, with the following matches

5.15pm – Olympic U13 v Olympic U12 NET team (on the training ground)

7.45pm – Olympic U16 v Kahibah under 19s

Postponement of Hamilton Olympic Youth NPL trials in Sydney due to weather

      After the postponement of our Youth NPL trials this Sunday in Sydney due the extreme weather forecast, our Youth teams get their first hit out this Thursday night 9th February, at Darling Street Oval, with the following matches-

·         5.15pm- Olympic Under 13 Youth NPL v  Olympic Under 12 NET team- ( on the training ground)

5.15pm- Olympic Under 14 Youth NPL v Kahibah Under 15s

6.30pm- Olympic Under 15 Youth NPL v Kahibah Under 17s

7.45pm- Olympic Under 16 Youth NPL V Kahibah under 19s

Hamilton Olympic sink the Jets Youth 3-1

In their first trial match for 2017 Hamilton Olympic FC Senior NPL teams won three out of three on Friday night at Darling St Oval.

First Grade took on the Jets Youth team and won 3-1 thanks to goals from Leo Bertos (pen), Rhys Cooper and Kane Goodchild.

Hamilton Olympic U20s defeated Cooks Hill First Grade 1-0, while our U18s defeated Cooks Hill U20s 3-1.

Hamilton Olympic Youth NPL are having their first hit out for this season when they travel down to Sydney to play the Balmain Tigers Youth NPL teams on Sunday, 5th February at Camdenville Oval, St Peters.

Kick off times are as follows-

13’s – 10.00am

14’s – 11.15pm

15’s – 12.30pm

16’s – 2.00pm
