Newcastle Olympic’s WPL Grand Final and Premiership double entered into HANSARD

NOFC sincerely thank our local State member of Newcastle, Tim Crakanthorp for entering our inaugural WPL Grand Final and Premier double into HANSARD :20th October, 2020, in the Legislative Assembly of NSW Parliament!

Tim has always been a great supporter of the Club, and we thank him for
entering this into Hansard.

Newcastle Olympic FC 4 Day Junior Summer Skills Coaching Clinic

With the current easing of COVID restrictions, NOFC will proceed with our popular Annual 4 Day Summer Coaching Clinic in the last week of the 2021 school holidays.

The Clinic will be held at Darling Street from Monday, 18th January, until Thursday, 21st January, inclusive.

Find below a link to the Clinic, where you can register your child. The Clinic numbers will be limited, so we suggest if you would like to enrol your child, get in early. We have also provided an attachment if you would prefer this method. The Clinic is open to any registered girls and boys from any Club in the Newcastle Region between the ages of 5 year to 13 years of age.

NPL Youth: Newcastle Olympic U16s Premiers and Grand Final winners

Newcastle Olympic U14s and U16s, both 2020 Premiers in their respective age groups represented the club in the NPL Youth Grand Finals held at Edgeworth and Maitland over the weekend.

U14s played Broadmeadow Magic and took the lead early in the half only to be equalised just before half time with a penalty. The took the lead again in the second half with a well taken free kick but a send off for a second yellow card reduced the team to 10 men and shortly after an equaliser ensured the match ended 2-2. In the 20 minutes of extra time, the numerical disadvantage plus a number of injuries in the team recording its first and loss in 2020.

U16s took on Lambton Jaffas and succeeded in pulling away to a 2-0 lead before a send-off and a penalty brought the score to 2-1 for a tense finish. Despite this the 2020 Premiers held on and collected their second title of the season as Grand Final winners.

Congratulations to the players, coaching staff of both teams for such a fantastic season.

NPL Youth: Newcastle Olympic U14s and U16s Premiers chase the double in weekend Grand Finals

 

All at the club pass on their best wishes to both our Under 14s and Under 16s NPL Youth teams who have advanced to their respective Youth Grand Finals this upcoming weekend.

Both teams will be chasing the elusive double, as they have both already been crowned as Premiers. Congratulations to the coaching staff and all the players for their fine achievement.

NPL Grand-Finals: Newcastle Olympic U14s play Broadmeadow Magic on Saturday and U16s play Lambton Jaffas on Sunday

Newcastle Olympic U14s and U16s Premiers have advanced to the 2020 Northern NSW NPL Grand Finals. U14s will face Broadmeadow Magic at Jack McLaughlan on Saturday and U16s will face Lambton Jaffas on Sunday.

U14s and U16s Newcastle Olympic advanced to the 2020 NPL Grand Finals with emphatic victories over Adamstown Rosebuds. U13s, U15s and U18s were unfortunately eliminated.

NPL Youth: U14s Newcastle Olympic 2020 NPL Northern NSW Premiers

Newcastle Olympic added another Premiership to its 2020 tally after the U14s team completed the season by winning EVERY game! The total is 4 Premierships (U14s, U16s, U18s, and Reserve Grade) from a total of 7!

U13s and U15s have ended the season in 2nd spot on their respective points tables and all four teams will compete in the Finals series next week!

Newcastle Olympic vs Charlestown Azzuri

Under 16s drew 3-3

NPL Youth: U14s Newcastle Olympic 2020 Premiers of NNSW

Congratulations to U14s Newcastle Olympic on winning the 2020 Premiership of NNSW. Congratulations to the players, coaching staff, parents, sponsors, administrators and volunteers.

The U14s team won their Premiership in style being victorious in EVERY match played. Good luck in tomorrow’s last game of the season and in the Finals series which begins next week.

Newcastle Olympic have won 4 NPL Premierships (u14s, u16s, u18s, Reserve Garde) in 2020 out of a possible 7!
