Congratulations to Sienna Willaims and Emmasyn Hills from our NOFC WPL ranks, who have been selected to compete in an Elite Trial Game on Monday 1st March at LMRFF, with a view towards being selected in the NNSWF team that will compete at Girls NYC’s in July.

Due to a recent change to the age groups at the Football Australia National Youth Championships for Girls, NNSWF have expanded their identification process to encompass the most talented players turning 16 in 2021.

• Monday, 8^th March 2021 at the Wallsend Diggers Club, 5 Tyrrell Street Wallsend

• 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start
• All players are expected to attend.
• Player dress code- smart jeans or shorts plus Club Polo and appropriate footwear.
• Sit down meal provided for all players/ coaches
• Meal of schnitzel, chips and salad also available for $15 for any parents/ caregivers. To be ordered with the RSVP and paid for on the night. (Any special dietary requirements, please contact when you RSVP)

On Saturday Newcastle Olympic continue their pre-season preparation with a trial match against Wollongong Olympic originally scheduled at Darling St Oval but moved to LMRFF Speers Point due to the rain.

The match kicks off at 4:00pm.

Saturday 13^th February 2021:

4:00pm Newcastle Olympic vs Wollongong Olympic (match moved to LMRFF Speers Point due to the rain)

2:15pm Newcastle ZL 1^st Grade vs Newcastle Olympic Reserve Grade (match moved to LMRFF Speers Point due to the rain)

Today we lay to rest our ex-President Jim Papadimitriou.

The funeral service will be held at St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Skelton St Hamilton East at 11am.

Owing to current restrictions inside the Church is by invitation only, others will be accommodated in the Church Hall via audio visual link up to a maximum of 120 people.

Everyone else is welcome to gather outside the church. The service will be live streamed at jamesmurray.com.au/tribute-centre

Newcastle Olympic will be having drinks at the Exchange Hotel from 5.30pm in memory of Jim Papas.

Newcastle Olympic have a number of Community teams that compete in the Newcastle Football competition.

We field teams in Under 5s, 6s, 7s and Under 8.

Currently, we have a couple of vacancies available in one our Under 6 teams for this year.
