Newcastle Jets Academy take on Bonnyrigg White Eagles in their first trial match for 2023

Newcastle Jets vs Bonnyrigg (2)

Newcastle Jets take on Bonnyrigg White Eagles on Sunday at Fairfield Showground, Sydney, in their first trial match for 2023. Commencing training only this week, after a four week break for Christmas and the new year, the Jets have until February 19th to prepare for the 2023 football season. This is the first of three scheduled matches to help teams prepare for the start of the new season.

Last season the Newcastle Jets performed well against Bonnyrigg in all age divisions and this should be a great test for teams to work on their fitness and match speed. U18s won 3-0 away and 3-2 at home. U16s won 3-0 away and 2-0 at home. U15s won 6-0 away and drew 1-1 at home. U14s lost 4-3 away and 1-0 at home. U13s won 6-1 away and 7-2 at home.
