U16s Newcastle Jets do battle at Lake Macquarie on Sunday against Nepean FC in what is looking like an epic battle. Newcastle Jets are in 1st place on the points table having won all 5 games played so far, while Nepean, is 2nd spot having won all 4 of the games played so far!
Newcastle has scored 11 goals and not conceded any while Nepean FC has scored 8 and conceded 2.
Without doubt this will be the biggest test faced by both teams so far this season. Both enjoy a 100% record and this will be placed on the line for the lucky spectators who will be at LMRFF on Sunday at 1:15pm. Will the Jets continue their march by winning their 6th consecutive game and pull away from the pack on the points table in first place or will Nepean clip their wings and challenge for 1st spot?
Elsewhere, on the Club Championship table the Newcastle Jets are narrowly in 1st place on 43 points, just two ahead of St. George City who are on 41 and ten ahead of Hills United who are on 33 points.
