In Round 14 of the NPL Youth competition Newcastle Olympic take on Edgeworth Eagles at Islington Park. The matches in all four age groups are derbies and should be very competitive encounters.
In u13s, 3 points separate 5 teams from 2nd to 6th on the points table. After their great win away last Monday over Jaffas, the Newcastle Olympic team will be wanting to double up on the three points and move within the top four.
In u14s, Newcastle Olympic occupy 1st place and their only loss of points this season was a narrow defeat to Edgeworth. This match will be between the best two teams of the competition.
In u15s, Newcastle Olympic are also in 1st place and on maximum points. A win against 2nd placed Edgeworth will bring them a step closer to the premiership.
In u16s, Newcastle Olympic are in 3rd place and with a win against 1st placed Edgeworth, they will be within three points off the lead.
Four mouth watering games which will be held at Islington Park. Due to the limited seating, spectators are encouraged to bring a chair.
