Newcastle Olympic FC are delighted to announce the appointment of Joel Griffiths as Head Coach for the 2021 NPL Northern NSW season.
A former Socceroo and A- League winner with the Newcastle Jets in season 2007-2008, Joel had a distinguished playing career both overseas and within Australia in both the NSL and A-League.
A Johnny Warren Medal winner, as well as A-League Golden Boot winner, this will be his first foray into the coaching ranks.
Having played previously in the NPL Northern NSW, Joel will no doubt bring his years of experience gained playing at the highest level into the local competition as the Head Coach of Olympic.
