Kale Bradbery provided a highlight among the NPL clubs, scoring a hat-trick for Broadmeadow as they defeated second-tier Wallsend 8-0 at Magic Park. James Virgili, Lawrence Foteff, Josh Piddington, Scott Pettit and Luke Virgili also scored for Broadmeadow.
NPL club Maitland had no trouble against Warners Bay, who play in the third tier of NNSW football, at John Street Oval, cruising to an 8-1 win. Ben Martin, Zac Hill, Jye McKellar, Ryan Broadley, Shane Cansdell-Sherriff and Matt Sokulsky were other scorers for the Magpies.
At Jack McLaughlan Oval, Daniel McBreen scored a treble for Edgeworth in his return from suspension as the Eagles beat second-tier Belmont Swansea 9-0. Keigo Moriyasu and Will Bower scored twice each and Aden Gardner also got on the scoresheet for Edgeworth, who made it to the round of 16 last year in a best-ever showing from a NNSW club in the nationwide knockout.
New Lambton edged out fellow Northern League One club Kahibah 2-1 at Alder Park on Tuesday night.
