Who are the Newcastle All Stars FC?

The Newcastle All-Stars FC were established in 2016 by Mick Hugo, with the purpose of attending the Inaugural National Indigenous Football Championships. Mick has had a long history in Indigenous Football with close to 15 years involvement in the sport.

He saw the need to organise teams from our area, with current players representing and chosen from Newcastle, Central Coast & Mid-North Coast areas. Players that will feature on Saturday have a cultural connection to Awabakal, Kamilaroi, Darkinjung, Worimi & Biripi. The main vision of these sporting teams is to build a great reputation in our indigenous community as we are very passionate about supporting our local kids in Football. Newcastle has the largest representation at the tournament normally.

Newcastle All Stars would like to thank Kosta Patsan and the Newcastle Olympic committee for all their hard work organisers this great day.
