The Annual NOFC Summer Coaching Clinic was completed today. Close to 80 dedicated footballers from within the Hunter Region had a most enjoyable time during the 4 Day Clinic, fine tuning their football skills before the start of a new season, and at the same time, meeting new friends.

The Club appreciate the support from the many families who enrolled their child at the Clinic. A special thanks to all our dedicated coaches, led by the Clinic Co-ordinator, Reece Fellas, who all did such a wonderful job.
The coaches were Reece Fellas, Paul DeVitis, Mason Palmieri, Blair Newham, Daniel Ball McKinnon, Elliot Paksec, Andrew Paksec and Cooper Hunt.

A reminder, the Club will also be holding their Annual Winter Coaching Clinic in the first week of the July School Holidays, (Monday 6th July, to Friday, 10th July, 2020) at THE PARC Howzat, Union Street, Cooks Hill.

Newcastle Olympic win the First Touch Football Supplies Voucher at Friday night’s Jets Game!

FTFS Jets 10012020 (2)

Certainly a lucky night last Friday night at McDonald Jones Stadium for Newcastle Olympic FC!!

Whilst the Jets went down in a close match to A League leaders, Sydney FC 2 goals to 1, Newcastle Olympic FC received a cheque for $1 000,  courtesy of FIRST TOUCH FOOTBALL SUPPLIES, the suppliers of Sporting Equipment for Northern NSW, and Match Day Sponsor for the fixture.

There was also a juggling promotion at the ground, and Club Sponsor Brett Purcell ( CB TECH) and father of our Under 12 NET keeper, Eden, filled in a form where he had to state why our Club deserves to win a $1 000, and he was chosen as the winner!!!

The cheque was presented to Brett at half time on the field by Brent from First Touch Football Supplies.

Whilst all that was happening, our talented Under 12 NET Olympic footballer Ben Archer represented the Club in the Finals of the juggling competition at half time. A big thank you to both Brett and Ben. A couple of free chicken schnitzels from the “Famous 3 G’s Canteen at Darling Street must be on the cards!
