Newcastle Olympic return to Darling St Oval for Round 10 wash out fixture against struggling New Lambton FC. This is after three weeks of wash out games and with no guarantee that the game will go ahead given the rain that has continued to pour in the Hunter region.
After seven consecutive wins Olympic Reserve Grade will be attempting to add another 3 points to their tally and extend their lead from their nearest rivals on the points ladder. After another routine win at Edgeworth three weeks ago the boys in blue take on a New Lambton side which concedes on average 3 goals a game! This is the essential difference between the two teams as both have little problem scoring.

Olympic First Grade appear to have an even easier task against a New Lambton team with the worst defense in the competition who are still to win a single match! Indeed, after 9 games the Eagles have only been able to secure two draws and consequently occupy last place on the table!
After the loss at Edgeworth and dropping to equal 4th spot on the ladder a win against New Lambton will edge Olympic closer to 3rd spot occupied by Weston Bears FC.
Will Olympic bounce back and add their 5th win of the season or will New Lambton collect their first 3 points?
