U19s ASA Karditsa suffered a home defeat by Eolikos Mytilene in Round 4 of the Super League 2 Youth Greek Championship. Playing on the bumpy surface of Makrihori and with a number of regular players unavailable, it was never going to be easy for the home team. Despite this every player who participated gave 100% and the game was fiercely contested until the very end.
The visitors opened the score in the 15th minute through a volley by Korkidis following a cross from the left and the inability by the Karditsa defense to be first to the ball or at least block the shot. Mytilene made it 2-0 just before half time (45’ Almeta) through another lapse in the Karditsa defense but the spectators were in an uproar as prior to the goal scored, a Mytilene player pushed a Karditsa player to the ground with both arms in order to win the ball but the referee didn’t see it!
In the second half the home team continued with the same intensity and were rewarded with a goal in the 54th minute, scored by George Tsamouras after a nice cross from the right! At 2-1 both teams gave 100% to try and win the game and the spectators were treated to a very competitive match.
Taloniatis made it 3-1 for the visitors in 65th minute after receiving a defense splitting ball but despite this, the home team continued to press until the final whistle.
Both teams need to be congratulated for the game they played on a very bumpy surface.
Ιn the other match of Group B Levadiakos were defeated 2-0 at home by Larissa FC.

Η Κ-19 ΑΣΑ Καρδίτσας χάνει με 3-1 εντός έδρας από τον Αιολικό Μυτιλήνης
Η Κ-19 ΑΣΑ Καρδίτσας γνώρισε εντός έδρας ήττα από τον Αιολικό Μυτιλήνης στην 4η αγωνιστική του πρωταθλήματος Νέων της Super League 2. Παίζοντας στην ανώμαλη επιφάνεια του Μακρυχωρίου και με αρκετούς τακτικούς παίκτες μη διαθέσιμους, δεν θα ήταν ποτέ εύκολο για τους γηπεδούχους. Παρόλα αυτά, κάθε παίκτης που συμμετείχε έδωσε το 100% και το παιχνίδι διεκδικήθηκε έντονα μέχρι το τέλος.
Οι φιλοξενούμενοι άνοιξαν το σκορ στο 15ο λεπτό με βολέ του Κορκίδη μετά από σέντρα από αριστερά και αδυναμία της άμυνας της Καρδίτσας να βγει πρώτη στην μπάλα ή τουλάχιστον να μπλοκάρει το σουτ. Η Μυτιλήνη έκανε το 2-0 λίγο πριν το ημίχρονο (45′ Αλμέτα) με ένα ακόμα λάθος στην άμυνα της Καρδίτσας αλλά οι θεατές ήταν σε έξαλλη κατάσταση καθώς πριν από το γκολ, ένας παίκτης της Μυτιλήνης έσπρωξε έναν παίκτη της Καρδίτσας στο έδαφος με τα δύο χέρια για να κερδίσει την μπάλα αλλά ο διαιτητής δεν το είδε!
Στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο οι γηπεδούχοι συνέχισαν με την ίδια ένταση και ανταμείφθηκαν με γκολ στο 54ο λεπτό, το οποίο σημείωσε ο Γιώργος Τσαμούρας μετά από ωραία σέντρα από δεξιά! Στο 2-1 και οι δύο ομάδες έδωσαν το 100% για να προσπαθήσουν να κερδίσουν το παιχνίδι και οι θεατές απόλαυσαν έναν πολύ ανταγωνιστικό αγώνα.
Ο Ταλωνιάτης έκανε το 3-1 για τους φιλοξενούμενους στο 65ο λεπτό παραλήπτης «μπαλιάς τρύπα», αλλά παρόλα αυτά, οι γηπεδούχοι συνέχισαν να πιέζουν μέχρι το τελευταίο σφύριγμα.
Και οι δύο ομάδες αξίζουν συγχαρητήρια για το παιχνίδι που έπαιξαν σε μια πολύ ανώμαλη επιφάνεια.
Στον άλλο αγώνα του Β ́ Ομίλου ο Λεβαδειακός ηττήθηκε 2-0 εντός έδρας από τη Λάρισα.
